Pepper Kapya

Kapya is the red pepper Turkey roasts, dries and turns into paste — thick-walled, deep red, sweet with no heat at all. Export demand is mostly for processing, so grading favours flesh thickness over shape.

Harvest runs through the year under cover, with the heaviest weeks in late summer when the field crop comes in.
