Cucumber

Cucumbers leave the greenhouse the same morning they are cut. They lose water faster than almost anything else we pack, and a cucumber that has gone soft at the ends cannot be recovered by cooling it later.

Production runs all twelve months. Fruit is graded by length and straightness and packed in single layers or shrink-wrapped where the buyer wants extended shelf life.
