When is Fig available for export?

Hatipoğlu Tarım ships Fig from June to October. The calendar comes from combining protected cultivation around Antalya with open-field harvests handled at the Bursa and Manisa facilities.

How is Fig packed for export?

Fig is packed in carton box 30 × 40 × 14 cm, plastic crate 30 × 50 × 22 cm, carton box 40 × 60 × 10 cm. Case size decides the pallet pattern and how full the container runs, so it is chosen for the buyer's destination market; retail and wholesale lots are prepared separately.

Turkey is the world’s largest fig exporter. Figs are delicate summer fruit requiring rapid handling after harvest to protect their soft texture, delicate skin and rich flavour. Hatipoğlu Tarım selects them for size, skin integrity, maturity and surface quality before export.

From June to October, figs are picked twice daily, in the morning and afternoon. They are placed directly into single-layer trays, cooled without unnecessary handling and moved promptly into dispatch.
