Banana

Turkish bananas are supplied throughout the year from glasshouse production along the Anamur–Alanya coast, with a shorter, denser structure than tropical imported bananas. Hatipoğlu Tarım selects hands for size, skin integrity, colour and firmness before export.

The fruit is cut green and separated into hands at the facility. It can be shipped green or transferred to ripening rooms according to the buyer’s programme, with careful temperature control because bananas are sensitive to chilling.
