Cherry

Cherries are the most time-sensitive product we ship. The first six hours after picking decide the condition the fruit arrives in, so the day is built backwards from the flight: picked in the morning, hydro-cooled by noon, graded in the afternoon, loaded at night.

Stems must stay green and attached — a brown stem tells the buyer the fruit sat somewhere warm. Grading starts at 22 mm and follows whatever calibre is ordered.

The season opens in May and runs into August; orchards at different altitudes stretch the same variety across three months. Exporting from Antalya since 2002 — ISO 9001, ISO 22000, GLOBALG.A.P., BRC.
