When is Avocado available for export?

Hatipoğlu Tarım ships Avocado from October to March. The calendar comes from combining protected cultivation around Antalya with open-field harvests handled at the Bursa and Manisa facilities.

How is Avocado packed for export?

Avocado is packed in carton box 30 × 40 × 12 cm, carton box 30 × 50 × 12 cm. Case size decides the pallet pattern and how full the container runs, so it is chosen for the buyer's destination market; retail and wholesale lots are prepared separately.

Avocado

Avocados are supplied from Antalya’s growing coastal production areas from October to March. Hatipoğlu Tarım selects fruit from orchards between Kumluca and Gazipaşa for size, dry-matter level, skin integrity and firmness before export.

Avocados are harvested firm and ripen after leaving the tree. The fruit is cooled and shipped unripe, allowing the buyer to manage ripening according to its sales programme.
